Life Lately

I always get a bit impatient during the month of May. I want to garden; plant tomatoes, basil, cucumbers, parsley, lettuce, etc but here in New England those in the know say wait till Memorial Day–we might still get a frost. Plus, the swamp maples in the yard behind our property, release thousands of seedlings, helicopters, that twist and turn like ballerinas pirouetting, falling from the trees. They need to be raked up, especially in the garden, and bagged. See them.

I spent one week painting the living room. By bye Poppy and hello Benjamin Moore Italian Rose.

My watercolor on the new wall color.

Susan and I are taking a course on how the how to play the Djembe. The class meets once a week for six weeks.
