Let’s begin with a Bible verse.
“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
In Sunday School, we learn each day is a rich and precious gift from God, with new grace and new opportunities. Jesus says that we have only this one day, and we must not be anxious for the day tomorrow.
Here is another inspirational quote. This one from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who was a German polymath and writer, widely regarded as the greatest and most influential writer in the German language.
“Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”
And:
“Nothing is worth more than this day. You cannot relive yesterday. Tomorrow is still beyond reach.”
And one more:
“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares many not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.”
Notes above to my self.
Goals for this month:
Paint more:

I have started an experiment. I have not been a good reader. I was once a good reader. I have four books on my night stand and I have started to read a few pages from each book every day as opposed to reading one book at a time. I guess I am looking for inspiration. I am finding it. The books are Beach Music by Pat Conroy, Pond by Claire Louise-Bennett, Flights by Olga Tokarczuk, and The Years by Annie Ernaux.
Of course I want to love more. Exercise more. See more. Share more. Write more.
Here is a photo of Freddy from today at a wonderful family get-together.

Peace be with you.
