Susan and I recently almost had the opportunity to house sit for an internet friend in Montreal. Unfortunately, the opportunity never materialized for us. I know we would have had a blast as we did when we house sat for our friend, Helena, in Hamilton, Ontario.
Nevertheless, I was reminded of the time I went to Montreal in 2004 to attend the Jazz Festival. Much of it took place outdoors; I loved seeing Dessy Di Lauro (one of the last photos below). And I am still friends with Dagmara and Vanessa–pictured together in front of “Fairly Traded Coffee.”
