A beginning begins somewhere. Let’s begin with The Daily Word, Sunday, June 14, 2015:
“Today I stop placing limits on my ability to live the life of my dreams. I start by taking an honest look at what I believe about myself. I identify false, destructive thoughts and sweep them out of my mind. This cleansing reveals the beautiful being I AM–made in the image and ikeness of God. What a breath of fresh air!
“I revel in true freedom as I embrace my spiritual identity. I soar like an eagle catching currents of divine energy. As others see my strength and agility, I effortlessly attract my good. I am limitless.
“Life becomes sweeter and brighter as I ascend into this new understanding of myself. I become more prosperous, healthy, and happy as I embrace my spiritual truth.”
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17
My mission is to connect with people, inspire people and build community; making the world a better place with beautiful photography.
Tomorrow morning I leave for Denver to spend Father’s Day weekend with my son and his girlfriend. I have never been to Colorado and people have often said to me, “Bruce! You are going love it. It is so beautiful.” It is a gift to go and I am very grateful.
And I continue to count my gifts every day. The counting of these gifts has become the diary, the poem, the inventory of my life. G. K. Chesterson said the greatest poem is an inventory. It seems so simple. The counting. Being grateful Ann Voskamp, who inspired me to count with here book One Thousand Gifts, writes: Gratefulness is not what you feel after times of joyfulness; gratefulness is what you have to choose to get to times of joyfulness.”
I am grateful to have seen this Peony in my neighbor’s yard last week.
