The parents of Danielle Barone of Florence and Michael Suprenant of Amherst announce their children’s engagement. Danielle Barone is the daughter of Betsy Barone and John Sheirer of Florence and Bruce Barone and Susan McCarthy of West Springfield. Michael Suprenant is the son of James and Robbin Suprenant of Amherst.
Barone is a physical therapist at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in the Elite Sports Medicine Department in Hartford, Conn. A 2002 graduate of Northampton High School, she received bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in physical therapy from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y., in 2006-2007.
Suprenant is currently pursuing a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, N.Y. A 2003 graduate of Amherst Regional High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2007.
A June 25, 2011, wedding is planned.
